Message from the President of Lorestan University Regarding Government Week and Employee Day

I am honored to congratulate all university members, especially the esteemed and hardworking staff of Lorestan University, on Government Week and Employee Day, which commemorate the martyrdom of two exemplary figures of the Islamic Republic of Iran, the martyrs Rajaei and Bahonar.

It is indeed a pleasure that the names and memories of these two dear martyrs are associated with Government Week and Employee Day. It is certainly our rightful expectation to understand the philosophy and spirit that pervades the commemoration of the martyrdom of Rajaei and Bahonar.

The philosophy of holding Government Week can be more easily understood by selecting symbols of the intellectual life and practical behavior of these great martyrs, the most important of which are mentioned below:

-         Implementing service to the people as the primary criterion for evaluation  of the university, based on Islamic principles

-         Practical understanding of the status of the people as the benefactors of officials and government figures

-         Officials being among the people and feeling their problems with all their being

-         Renewing the covenant with God for sincere and honest work and behavior

Government Week is a reminder and a standard for moving in the luminous path of sincere service, and Employee Day is an occasion to honor the worthy individuals whose efforts are focused on facilitating the affairs of clients, creating peace in the university community of Lorestan University, and seeking divine satisfaction.

Undoubtedly, a significant portion of the university's success and increasing progress is due to the experience, expertise, and capabilities of the staff who, in various departments of the university, have always performed their duties with commitment and effort, contributing to its growth and prosperity, and will continue to do so.

I thank and appreciate each of you, the staff of Lorestan University, and I ask Almighty God for your health, success, and increasing prosperity under the care of His Eminence, the Imam of the Age (may God hasten his reappearance). I hope that, with the grace of God and following the guidance of the Supreme Leader, you will be successful and supported in achieving the programs and goals of the development and progress of Lorestan University.

With wishes for divine success

Your servant, Dr. Khosro Azizi
