The necessity of naming a day in the university calendar as the Day of Free Thought Chairs
Ahmad Karamollahi said at the meeting of cultural and social directors of universities in Region 2 of the country at Lorestan University: Cultural supervision is not part of the evaluation indicators of private student dormitories, and yet it is necessary to add this duty to the list of duties of the supervisory committees of these dormitories.
He added: Another problem that plagues private student dormitories is that the buildings of these dormitories are not suitable for dormitory space.
The cultural director of Lorestan University pointed to the compilation of the cultural calendar of this university and said: This calendar has been provided to the university dormitories for carrying out cultural activities.
Karamollahi pointed to the weakness of cultural activities in the culture houses of the dormitories of this university and continued: The development of cultural activities in the culture houses of the dormitories by utilizing the capacity of cultural activists, including programs that will be followed in the new academic year at Lorestan University.
He announced the holding of health vitality workshops in student dormitories as another priority of this university in the new academic year and added: 80% of the dormitory students of Lorestan University have expressed satisfaction with the holding of health vitality workshops in which issues related to life skills are discussed with the presence of experienced professors.
The cultural director of Lorestan University emphasized the necessity of designating a day in the name of Free Thought Chairs in the cultural calendar of the Ministry of Science and said: Simultaneously with this day, while honoring students and people who are effective in holding Free Thought Chairs, the importance of holding these chairs can be shown to the university community.
