The Research Assistant Stipend for Graduate Students Has Increased

The Vice-Chancellor for Research and Technology at Lorestan University announced: In order to create greater interaction between graduate students and their supervisors, and to make better use of their capabilities in research activities, to familiarize these students with the frameworks and methods of conducting research activities related to their specialized field, and to deepen research activities and encourage them to engage in such activities in continuous interaction with the supervising professor, which ultimately leads to the improvement of the university's research status, the executive regulations for research assistants at Lorestan University were approved in the ninth ordinary meeting of the Permanent Commission of the third term of the Board of Trustees of Lorestan University, dated August 9, 2017.

In this regard, based on the resolution of the University Research and Technology Council dated December 15, 2025, the amount of remuneration for research assistants has been increased from one million Tomans to three million Tomans, with an implementation date of January 20, 2026.
