Inter-departmental Coordination and Planning for the Qualitative Advancement of Lorestan University's Innovation and Growth Center

A joint meeting of the Science and Technology Park of the province, Lorestan University, and the Research and Technology Fund, focusing on synergy, networking, and maximizing the utilization of student capacities for the development of Lorestan University's "New Incubation Center," was held as per the directive of Dr. Shahiki, Deputy Minister of Science for Technology, upon the proposal of the Deputy Minister for Research and Technology, and hosted by the Deputy Minister for Cultural Affairs of Lorestan University.

According to the Public Relations of Lorestan University, the objective of this meeting was to utilize talented and interested individuals in student associations and centers, and to foster synergy between the Cultural Affairs Department and the Incubation Center, with the support of the Lorestan Provincial Science and Technology Park.

At the beginning of the meeting, Dr. Alireza Sepehvand, Director of the Lorestan University Incubation Center, explained the nature and characteristics of the New Incubation Center, elaborated on its objectives and vision, and detailed the responsibilities of this technology ecosystem and environment.

Subsequently, the attendees emphasized the necessity of implementing the new model for New Incubation Centers, which includes talent identification, the creation of a provincial technology ecosystem, networking, mentoring, and financing. It was decided that the networking process would be established under the synergy of the University's Cultural Affairs Department.

The Head of the Provincial Science and Technology Park (Dr. Mohammad Reza Sepehvand) presented practical and strategic ideas for networking and team building at this meeting.

He also announced the park's commitment to allocating defined resources to support student groups with ideas and to actively participate in providing specialized business coaching.

The esteemed Deputy Minister for Cultural Affairs of Lorestan University (Dr. Ghasem Sahraei), in collaboration with the esteemed Director of Cultural Affairs and the Director of Student Associations, fully expressed their readiness to engage active and idea-generating student groups with the support of student scientific association secretaries and association advisors.

Furthermore, the Management of Community and Industry Relations of Lorestan University (Dr. Morteza Gholami) announced readiness to provide support and targeted planning for the execution of industrial, technological, and specialized exhibition tours, focusing on active student groups and with the support of the Science and Technology Park.

This synergy is considered a significant step towards transforming student ideas into knowledge-based businesses, enhancing technical and specialized skills, and developing the innovation ecosystem at Lorestan University.

Finally, it was resolved to first hold a specialized meeting with the secretaries of associations and centers to discuss technology discourse with interested students and to initiate appropriate team building among interested students.

It was also resolved to hold a specialized technology meeting with association advisors so that they can guide interested students with creative ideas as mentors, and to organize technology tours for the associations focusing on important technological issues.

It is noteworthy that Dr. Meysam Doostizadeh is in charge of the management of the Research and Technology Fund of Lorestan Province.

Lorestan University's Incubation Center is being implemented as a pilot among the country's incubation centers as one of the new incubation centers, pursuing the objectives of the Ministry of Science's Technology Department. Recently, at the invitation of the Deputy Minister of Science for Technology, along with the heads of the Park and Lorestan University and four provincial research and technology managers, they held a specialized technological meeting at the Ministry of Science, hosted by Dr. Shahiki.
