A Home for the Earth / Inauguration of the Provincial Environmental Technologist House at Lorestan University

Lorestan Province's Environmental Technologist House was inaugurated on Monday, April 26, 2026, in the Growth and Technology Center building of Lorestan University, with the presence of a group of provincial and university managers.

According to the Public Relations of Lorestan University, in the opening ceremony, Dr. Hossein Hatami, Vice President for Research and Technology of Lorestan University, Dr. Mahmoudreza Shakerami, President of the Science and Technology Park of the province, Engineer Kamran Farmanpour, Director General of Environmental Protection of Lorestan, Dr. Mohsen Arefnejad, President of the Elite Foundation of the province, Dr. Alireza Sepehvand, President of the Growth and Technology Center of Lorestan University, Dr. Kamraei, Vice President for Research and Technology of the Medical Sciences University of the province, and Dr. Morteza Ghobadi, Director of Communication with Society and Industry of Lorestan University, were present.

Based on the issued guidelines, this house, with the aim of strengthening the link between the university, industry, and technology centers of the province in order to protect the environment of Lorestan, with the focus on Lorestan University, began its activities.

Lorestan's Environmental Technologist House will function as a venue for holding scientific and specialized meetings, analyzing and reviewing environmental challenges, identifying technological solutions, and supporting the ideas of elites in the field of environment.

It is worth mentioning that in this ceremony, the main members of the Environmental Technologist House of the province were introduced, and it was approved that this house, with the cooperation of universities, science and technology parks, the Elite Foundation, and the General Directorate of Environmental Protection of the province, will identify technological priorities and address environmental challenges of the province.
