"Knowledge" and "Social Responsibility"/ Establishment of the "Mohkam" Specialized Working Group at Lorestan University

In line with the objectives of the Secretariat for "Managing the Resolution of Major National Issues" (Mohkam) in the Ministry of Science, Research and Technology, and with the aim of involving academics in the reconstruction of the country, especially in the post-war conditions, a specialized working group, focusing on communication with society and industry, was formed at Lorestan University.

According to the Public Relations of Lorestan University, in this working group, representatives of communication with society and industry from the faculties have been selected as primary members and faculty liaisons.

The Secretariat for Managing the Resolution of Major National Issues (Mohkam) has commenced its activities with the aim of national cohesion, utilizing the capacity of universities and research institutes, and responding to the country's fundamental challenges, including the damages resulting from the war.

The objectives of this secretariat are:

_ Establishing a unified mechanism for defining, prioritizing, assigning, and managing major issues.

_ Assigning the implementation of projects to capable implementers and increasing the efficiency and quality of the results.

_ Establishing a results-oriented monitoring and evaluation system.

_ Converting project results into policy proposal packages and presenting them to the government and relevant authorities.

_ Increasing transparency, accountability, preventing conflicts of interest, and ensuring the quality of documents and data.

The duties of the specialized working groups of universities are:

_ Identifying expert professors, networking, and creating a platform for purposeful interaction with the country's scientific community.

_ Identifying and introducing available laboratory facilities and existing infrastructure.

_ Creating appropriate mechanisms for the participation of faculty members, students, and staff.

_ Preparing and submitting periodic reports to the Mohkam Secretariat.

_ Developing an implementation plan considering the subject of the projects.

_ Conducting needs assessments in related specialized fields.

_ Providing short-term, medium-term, and long-term operational ideas and solutions.

_ Defining and implementing joint research and technology projects with stakeholders in the field.

Coordination of matters related to this secretariat is the responsibility of Dr. Morteza Ghobadi, the secretary of the working group.

Lorestan University, by forming this specialized working group, announces its readiness to actively participate in resolving national problems, rebuilding damaged industries, and managing major national issues.

Lorestan University invites all professors, researchers, and experts to submit their ideas, operational solutions, and research projects in line with managing major national issues, addressing the damages resulting from the war, and resolving the fundamental challenges of industries and the province, through the Eita messenger to the ID IndustryLU1405@ of the Communication with Society and Industry Department of Lorestan University.

Also, all governmental institutions, executive organizations, industrial centers, damaged factories, and private sectors that are facing the priorities of major national issues or require assessment, reconstruction, and solution provision in the post-war conditions are invited to contact the secretary of the working group via Eita ID to register their requests and collaborate with this secretariat.
