Lorestān University Research and Technology Vice-Chancellor's Brainstorming Session with the Faculty of Basic Sciences for Enhancing Industry Linkages

A meeting was held between the Vice-Chancellor (Dr. Hossein Hatami) and the managers of the Research and Technology Department of Lorestan University with the board of directors of the Faculty of Basic Sciences and a group of faculty members of this faculty, focusing on methods for developing university-industry cooperation.
According to the Public Relations of Lorestan University, in this meeting held on Monday, June 7th, the pivotal and key topics for the faculty members of the Faculty of Basic Sciences of Lorestan University were explained, which included the following:
- The process of obtaining, registering, concluding, and executing external university contracts.
- University support and incentives in the field of external university contracts.
- Demand-driven theses and dissertations.
_ Demand-driven postdoctoral programs.
- Industrial sabbatical leave for faculty members.
- Provincial mission priorities and long-term collaborations.
- Article 13 of the Knowledge-Based Production Acceleration Law and tax credit.
- Career Guidance and Specialized Employment Center.
- Method of registering and applying for external university projects with the National Science Foundation of Iran.
- Method of registering and applying for external university projects in the Needs and Ideas (NAN) system.
- Method of registering and applying for external university projects with the research funds of the Daneshmand Institute.
- Support and facilities provided by the National Elites Foundation to faculty members.
At the end of this meeting, the faculty members welcomed the problem-oriented approach and expressed their readiness to define joint projects with the industry and society sectors, emphasizing the necessity of facilitating the administrative processes for these collaborations.
