Lorestan University Student Among the Province's Top Quranic Students / Honoring the Winners of the Seraj Award

Sarvar Mahmoudvand, a PhD student in Biology, specializing in Plant Systematics at the Faculty of Basic Sciences, Lorestan University, was among the top Quranic students in Lorestan Province and received the Sarraj Award. Provincial laureates will advance to national competitions.
According to the Public Relations of Lorestan University, quoting the IRNA news agency of Lorestan Province, the closing ceremony of the national plan to honor top Quranic students titled "Sarraj Award" was held on the afternoon of October 2nd, organized by the Cultural Deputy of IRIB Lorestan and in participation with the Supreme Quran Council of the province, at the Yousef Al-Nabi (PBUH) Quranic Institute in Khorramabad.
At this ceremony, Atefeh Heidari, a Bachelor's student in Elementary Education at Farhangian University, Zainab Al-Kubra (PBUH) Branch, Borujerd, was introduced as one of the provincial laureates. She is a complete memorizer of the Holy Quran and holds a Quranic instructor certificate and a specialized Quranic instructor training course.
Heidari has also been a national laureate in student Quranic competitions for five years, achieving five national and provincial ranks; she also has experience in judging Quranic competitions.
Mohammad Hossein Dalvand, a PhD student in Civil Engineering at Islamic Azad University, Khorramabad Branch, is another laureate of this plan, having achieved four national ranks and over 20 provincial ranks in the fields of recitation and Adhan. He has experience teaching Tajweed, proper recitation, fluent reading, and vocal melody of the Quran.
Sarvar Mahmoudvand, a PhD student in Biology, specializing in Plant Systematics at Lorestan University, was also among the provincial laureates of the "Sarraj Award" by the Cultural Deputy of IRIB Lorestan, due to achieving seven national ranks in the recitation of the Holy Quran.
During this ceremony, participants who were deemed worthy of receiving a certificate of appreciation were also honored. Parvaneh Hassanvand, Zahra Mir, Parnian Khorramian, Zeinab Karchani, Narges Matshi, Mohaddeseh Ganji, Mohaddeseh Barani-Beiranvand, Zahra Yar Ahmadi, Fatemeh Zare-Nasiri, Khatoon Behzad, and Leila Ghasemi were among those honored in the plan.
In this round of the plan, 70 Quranic students from the province submitted their documents and resumes of activities in three sections: educational, promotional, and research to the secretariat. After the judging process and selection of provincial laureates, the selected works were sent to the central secretariat of the Organization for Quranic Activities of University Students of the country to participate in national competitions.
