Enhancement of Counseling and Health Center Services at Lorestan University Concurrent with the Start of the Academic Year

In conjunction with the start of the new academic year, the Counseling and Health Center of Lorestan University (affiliated with the Student Affairs Department), by upgrading its service infrastructure, is prepared to address the physical and mental health needs of the university community, especially students.

According to the Public Relations of Lorestan University, this center, located in the building of the Educational and Student Affairs Management, is ready to provide specialized counseling services based on the planned program for service quality enhancement.

Mohammad Hossein Haghi-zadeh, the Head of the Counseling and Health Center of Lorestan University, stated in an interview with our reporter: "The services of this center are provided during office hours from 8 AM to 1 PM; however, to ensure comprehensive coverage of student needs, our specialized and expert counselors are also stationed in dormitories outside of office hours to be available to address the needs of our dear students at any moment."

Haghi-zadeh emphasized the necessity of paying attention to physical and mental health as the primary driver of scientific progress in society, adding: "University members are the pioneers of science and knowledge in the country, and attending to their physical and mental health is a strategic imperative. Our ultimate goal is for the counseling center, relying on the expertise of its specialists, to continuously improve the quality of its services and create a distinct experience of counseling services."

The Head of the Counseling Center concluded by expressing gratitude for the unwavering support of Dr. Mehdi Shahin, the esteemed Deputy of Student Affairs at Lorestan University, noting: "The upgrading of this center's infrastructure would not have been possible without his support."
