Mourning Ceremony of the Province's Academics / A Heartfelt Message from a Lorestan University Faculty Member for the Martyred Imam

The mourning ceremony of the academics of Lorestan province in sorrow for the martyrdom of the martyred leader of Iran, with a speech by Hujjat al-Islam wa al-Muslimeen Seyed Navab Mousavi, was held. Also, in this ceremony, Dr. Houriyeh Moradi, a faculty member of Lorestan University, recited her heartfelt message for the martyred Imam.

According to the Public Relations of Lorestan University, this spiritual ceremony was held on Monday, July 11, 2026, hosted by the Farhangian University of Lorestan province, with the planning of the offices of the Supreme Leader's Representative in the universities of Lorestan province.

Hujjat al-Islam wa al-Muslimeen Seyed Navab Mousavi explained in his speech that the main philosophy of the school of the two Imams of the Islamic Revolution is jihad, struggle, and uprising for the sake of God. A true Muslim is one who is committed to uprising for God; the camp of truth is the camp of the Islamic Republic, and the camp of falsehood is the camp of global arrogance. The school of the Islamic Revolution is the school of jihad and uprising for God.

Hujjat al-Islam wa al-Muslimeen Dr. Majid Movahedi, Head of the Offices of the Supreme Leader's Representative in the universities of Lorestan province, also explained in his speech that it is an honor to live in an era where we have had the opportunity to understand the martyred mujahid Imam; the path of the martyred Imam must be continued with strength, and the school of the martyred Imam must be explained more than ever to the young generation.

Dr. Movahedi stated that sincerity in speech and action are prominent characteristics of the martyred Imam's lifestyle.

Dr. Mahtab Changayi, President of Farhangian University of Lorestan province, also spoke about the position of the higher education system and the country's universities in the progress and power of Iran, citing the teachings of the martyred Imam.

Academics in the Islamic Republic system play a very important role in the country's progress, a role that must be strengthened more than ever.

Next, Morteza Goudarzipour, a eulogist of the Ahl al-Bayt (AS), performed elegies in sorrow for the martyred leader.

In this ceremony, Dr. Houriyeh Moradi, a faculty member of the Geography Department of Lorestan University, recited her heartfelt message for the martyred Mr. of Iran.

Text of the heartfelt message:

In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

﴿بَقِيَّةُ اللَّهِ خَيْرٌ لَكُمْ إِنْ كُنْتُمْ مُؤْمِنِينَ﴾

"What remains with Allah is better for you, if you should be believers."

And peace be upon the companions of Mahdi, the treasure of the battles of the end times

Those who are tasked with preparing the world for justice and light.

This heartfelt message is a response from our hearts to a divine covenant, at a time when "waiting" is no longer enough.

My dear leader, greetings...
My lord, Seyyed Ali Khamenei...
O son of Zahra...

What shall I write for you?
With what words shall I narrate the loneliness of this heart?
Is it possible to contain longing in words?
Is it possible to write about a man whose stature has been the pillar of this Ummah's tent for years?

Is it possible to write about a lord who was the martyr of Ramadan and in the bloody Qadr night, with a 14-month-old infant, met his Master.

O descendant of Hussein

You tell me yourself

What did you do that God, 1400 years later, once again depicted Ashura with you and your family for the world?

Is it possible not to envy this status!

O dear Seyyed....

Your blood dyed Iran red, and the Strait of Hormuz became the guardian of your memory and path.

My lord....

Your blood awakened the world's expectant ones, and as your ancestor Ali ibn al-Husayn said, you can be an example of the best people of your time:

"The people of the time of occultation [of Imam Mahdi] who believe in his Imamate and await his reappearance are the best people of all times, for God has granted them intellect, understanding, and knowledge such that occultation is like observation to them."

My lord....

Why did God create history this way?

Why did truth not always have a smooth path?

Why, from Abel to Noah, from John to Zechariah, from Ali (AS) to Hussein (AS), and the children of Ali, was the path of truth mixed with hardship and loneliness?

The answer must be sought in the Quran; where God said:

﴿أَحَسِبَ النَّاسُ أَنْ يُتْرَكُوا أَنْ يَقُولُوا آمَنَّا وَهُمْ لَا يُفْتَنُونَ﴾

"Do people think that they will be left alone because they say, 'We believe,' and will not be tested?"

History is nothing but a field of testing.

Every era has its own Ashura.

Every generation has its own Karbala.

And every human must decide which side of the field they will stand on.

Yes, the world is still in the midst of Ashura...

It seems history began loneliness from Medina,
Wrote it in blood at Karbala,
Entrusted it to Khurasan,
And today, it continues in the hearts of the believers.

The world often recognizes the truth late;

It recognized Noah late;

It recognized Abraham late;

It recognized Ali late;

It recognized Hussein late;

And history has repeatedly proven that truth, before it triumphs, is tested.

Therefore, a believer is more concerned with their faithfulness to the divine covenant than with the outcome.

He knows God's promise is infallible:

﴿وَنُرِيدُ أَنْ نَمُنَّ عَلَى الَّذِينَ اسْتُضْعِفُوا فِي الْأَرْضِ وَنَجْعَلَهُمْ أَئِمَّةً وَنَجْعَلَهُمُ الْوَارِثِينَ﴾

"And We wanted to bestow favor upon those who were oppressed in the land and make them imams and make them inheritors."

This promise is not only about the past; it is a horizon that the believer always keeps in sight.

Therefore, anticipation is not a baseless hope; it is a hope based on God's promise.

It is narrated in traditions that the best deeds of the Ummah are awaiting theفرج (relief), because true anticipation calls a person to self-improvement, insight, steadfastness, and service to creation. And the history of your life testifies that you were a continuation of Hussein's path and on the path of your Master Mahdi. At a time when you depicted "waiting" with your blood and that of your family... "Someone like me will not pledge allegiance to someone like him (Yazid)."

My lord....

We are the generation of a time that has seen sedition, tasted sanctions, and heard threats; yet amidst all these storms, your calm voice has always brought troubled hearts to the shore of assurance.

We know you not only as a leader, but as a kind father, a detached scholar, and a tireless soldier on the path of guardianship.

But, O dear Seyyed....

I know that all these years, your heart has been elsewhere...

All the speeches, all the warnings, all the smiles, and all the tears have had only one destination... God....

Destination: the owner of this banner...
Hazrat Baqiyatullah al-A'zam, Imam Zaman (may Allah hasten his reappearance).

Is it not true that you have said many times:
This revolution has an owner...
This ship has a captain...
And we are all custodians of that absent sun.

My lord....

O standard-bearer......

We have not pledged to be by your side only in peaceful times.

We have made a covenant with you;
A covenant of the nature of Ashura...
A covenant of the nature of "Labbaik Ya Hussein"....
A covenant that will continue until the appearance of the final proof of God.

We have pledged that if the enemy targets our hope, we will learn hope from the Quran.

If they target our faith, we will stand behind the guardianship.

If they target the banner, we will make our lives a shield for the banner.

And if one day Imam Zaman (AS) appears, we will not be ashamed that we abandoned his vicegerent during the time of occultation.

O son of Zahra...

We know how many nights the weight of this responsibility has stolen from your eyes.

We know that every decision, every concern, and every prayer has been for the glory of Islam and the security of this nation.

And we, the children of this land, bear witness today before God that we recognize the blessing of guardianship and appreciate its value.

Our master...

We have come to bid farewell to your pure body from the Tehran Musalla to the shrine of the noble of the Household, from Najaf to Karbala and Mashhad, to say:

As long as we have life, we will not deviate from the path of the Quran.

We will not deviate from the path of the Ahl al-Bayt (AS).

We will not deviate from the path of guardianship.

And we will not abandon the ideal of the appearance of Hazrat Vali-e-Asr (may Allah hasten his reappearance).

O God...

O God...

Make us among those who, in the clamor of the times, do not extinguish the lamp of reason with the light of faith.

Among those who do not exchange justice for personal gain.

Among those who, if fate brings them loneliness, do not trade loneliness for abandoning the truth.

And among those who, every morning, before uttering their own name, whisper this prayer with their hearts:

"O Allah, make us among the supporters of Your Wali, and among those steadfast in truth, and among those who fulfill the covenant."

O Allah, hasten the relief of Your Wali, and make us among His best supporters and helpers, and protect our leader and our Marja', and perpetuate the glory of Islam and Muslims.

And peace be upon you, and the mercy of Allah, and His blessings.
