The Serious Commitment of Lorestan University and the Provincial Imam Khomeini Relief Committee for Sustainable Scientific and Technological Empowerment of Beneficiaries

In line with the operationalization of the joint cooperation memorandum between Lorestan University and the Provincial Imam Khomeini Relief Foundation, a meeting was held at the office of the President of Lorestan University with the presence of the heads of both organizations. During this meeting, new horizons for interaction, beyond financial support, were charted.

According to the Public Relations of Lorestan University, one of the tangible achievements of this bilateral applied memorandum is the acceptance of 6 special research opportunities for faculty members in the field of humanities within the structure of the Relief Foundation, which is considered a significant step towards linking theoretical knowledge with practical issues.

During this meeting, while a comprehensive report on the "Technology Tuesdays" events was presented as a platform for strengthening the innovation ecosystem for beneficiaries, the general outline of establishing a solar power plant with the aim of providing sustainable energy and generating income was discussed and exchanged.

Furthermore, the executive details of employment generation projects focused on empowering supported beneficiaries were discussed, and it was decided that relevant faculty members would undertake the specialized management, guidance, and leadership of these projects within a comprehensive program.

In the area of skill enhancement, it was decided that based on the introduction of target families by the Relief Foundation, a series of practical skill-building initiatives would be implemented by university professors, and employment generation networks would be established in priority areas of the Relief Foundation.

On the other hand, two new projects were submitted to the Relief Foundation for final approval.

In another part of the meeting, a report on specialized artificial intelligence workshops was presented, and it was decided that an artificial intelligence network, focused on empowering and employing beneficiaries, would be established in all cities of the province.

This meeting demonstrates the serious commitment of both institutions to move beyond temporary assistance and progress towards sustainable, scientific, and technological empowerment.
