The book "Human Metaphysical Powers from the Perspective of Engineering Sciences," written by Dr. Mozaffar Shokri Rad, a faculty member of the Department of Mechanical Engineering, Lorestan University (Faculty of Engineering), has been published.

According to the Public Relations Department of Lorestan University, based on the working approach of the University's Printing and Publishing Department, which operates under the supervision of the Vice President for Research and Technology of Lorestan University, in order to introduce translated or authored books by faculty members, this time we sat down for an interview with Dr. Mozaffar Shokri Rad.

A book to strengthen hope, motivation, self-improvement, and self-awareness

In an interview with our reporter, Dr. Shokri Rad said about the purpose of writing this book: "University students and graduates are valuable assets of society, and we must always strive to ensure that an atmosphere of hope, motivation, interest, and scientific vitality exists and is strengthened among these valuable assets; therefore, for the past few years, my efforts have always been in this direction. I believe that the only way to save humans from the problems and troubles of today's world is to gain more knowledge, insight, and awareness, and this is only possible by stepping on the path of self-improvement and self-awareness; therefore, I undertook to write a work {a book} in this field."

What is the subject of the book?

Dr. Shokri Rad, who holds the academic rank of Assistant Professor, says about the book's subjects: "In general, the world of humans consists of two parts; the partial and visible part, which is physics and the material world, and another part that governs physics and constitutes the major part of the world around us, which is metaphysics.

The word "meta" means after and physics means nature. In the terminology, metaphysics includes positive and negative connections and energies that do not arise with the five senses of humans but are felt with our five senses. These positive and negative energies can create significant changes in the ordinary life of humans.

In fact, metaphysics appears as the software of the system through the material hardware in the physical world.

In this book, the subject of metaphysics is examined from a new perspective, which is generally based on the use of engineering sciences.

Also, the opinions of religious scholars and scientists, Persian and English poems and proverbs, verses from the Holy Quran and Nahj al-Balagha have been used.

A significant part of the book is also the result of my personal experiences, which is the outcome of participating in conferences and studying personal books and articles.

The topics presented as prerequisites for the subject of metaphysics in this book include: the purpose of life and human creation, secrets about the universe, the system of human beliefs, the laws of attraction, and frequency.

For the analysis of the mentioned topics, engineering topics such as thermodynamics, strength of materials, dynamics, vibrations, electrical circuits, and also physics including wave physics, fundamental particle physics, Einstein's relativity, electromagnetism, and color physics, as well as mathematics and geometry have been used, which makes the content attractive for students and graduates of engineering and basic sciences.

What is the application of the book?

Dr. Mozaffar Shokri Rad explains about the application of the mentioned book: "As mentioned, this book aims to create and strengthen motivation and utilize the powers of metaphysics to achieve success and achievement in the path of humanity and can be useful and practical in this field."
