Use of Lorestan University's portal is conditional upon acceptance of these terms and conditions. Please read the following provisions carefully before using the services of this website.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing this portal and using its services, you confirm that you have read, accepted, and are committed to the present terms, the privacy statement, and the cookie policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the portal.
2. Intellectual Property Rights
All portal content, including text, images, logos, signs, audio and video files, documents, and codes, belongs to Lorestan University or its authorized owners and is protected under the intellectual property laws of the Islamic Republic of Iran. Any commercial use or redistribution without written permission is prohibited. Educational, research, and non-commercial use is permitted with full source citation (university name + page address).
3. User Obligations
The user undertakes to:
- Provide real, accurate, and up-to-date information and accept responsibility for its accuracy.
- Keep login credentials (username and password) confidential.
- Refrain from sending illegal, offensive, threatening, blasphemous, promotional content, content containing malware, or content that violates the rights of others.
- Not harm the security of the portal (attempts to infiltrate, vulnerability scanning, DoS attacks, reverse engineering, and similar actions are prohibited).
- Not use automated bots or scrapers without written permission for extensive data extraction.
4. Unauthorized Behavior and its Consequences
Lorestan University is authorized, in case of violation, to temporarily or permanently restrict or terminate user access without prior notice, and in cases of cybercrime, to refer the matter to the judicial authorities. The responsibility for compensating for damages resulting from the violation is the responsibility of the offending user.
5. User Content
Users who submit content in interactive sections (comments, contact forms, support tickets, file uploads) grant Lorestan University a non-exclusive and royalty-free right to display, store, and, if legally necessary, disclose the content in line with the portal's objectives. The user confirms that the submitted content does not violate any rights of third parties.
6. Service Availability
Lorestan University always strives to keep the portal available 24/7, but no guarantee is given regarding the absence of interruptions. Updates, scheduled maintenance, security incidents, and technical factors beyond control may cause temporary service outages.

The portal content is for general informational purposes only. Lorestan University ensures the accuracy and up-to-dateness of the content to the extent possible, but does not accept any legal responsibility for direct or indirect damages resulting from reliance on the information on this portal. Official and binding educational, research, and administrative information is valid from official channels (Golestan system, administrative decrees, stamped and signed announcements).

10. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
These terms are subject to the laws of the Islamic Republic of Iran. In the event of any dispute, efforts will first be made to resolve it amicably through the university's legal office; otherwise, the matter will be referred to the competent courts of Khorramabad.
