Vice President for Research Meets with Top Researchers: Research Must Be Transformed into Wealth

The Vice-Chancellor for Research and Technology of Lorestan University, in a ceremony honoring top researchers, stated, citing the words of the Supreme Leader: "We must transform research into wealth."
Dr. Feyzian added: The resources that should be considered in improving the qualitative and quantitative level of research and converting it into wealth were stated as follows:
Cultivating advanced human resources;
Establishing research centers;
Increasing research budgets;
The existence of quality postgraduate training courses at the master's and doctoral levels;

Dr. Feyzian, by comparing the graph of scientific growth in the countries of the region, pointed out that Iran has achieved a suitable position in the region in terms of science, but we should not be proud of these statistics and should consider these researches as a prelude to converting research into capital.
At the end of his speech, Feyzian presented the following solutions for the advancement and development of research:
Increasing the share of exports with high technology;
Encouraging and supporting inventors and innovators;
Considering the quantitative and qualitative growth of science consumption;
Increasing the number of researchers in universities and research centers;
Improving the compatibility of human resource production with the needs of society;
Increasing the share of research and technology credits from the gross domestic product;
Increasing the share of the private sector in providing research credits;
 

He, with a scientific explanation of the mentioned cases, demanded an increase in the interaction and cooperation of universities and research centers with the private and executive sectors of the country./
