Commemoration Ceremony for Employee Day and Government Week at Lorestan University
According to the Public Relations and International Affairs of the University, a ceremony was held on the occasion of Government Week and Employee Day, with the presence of the University President, Hojjatoleslam and al-Moslemin Hosseini, Head of the Leadership Office at Lorestan University, as well as the Vice Presidents and University Directors, to commemorate Employee Day.
In this ceremony, Dr. Azizi, while commemorating Government Week and Employee Day, said to the staff of Lorestan University: The Lorestan University campus consists of three parts, including faculty members, staff, and students, each of whom has their own special place, and with a correct perspective, we realize that all these parts are interdependent and form the university community of Lorestan University.
He continued: One of the emphases of the Supreme Leader is to honor clients and serve the people. Serving the people is the principle, and we must put ourselves in the place of the clients so that we can understand them and be more successful in providing better services to them. Clients, whether in the student section or in the section of visitors who come from outside, should be satisfied with the behavior of the staff and leave the university with satisfaction. Our behavior should be in the dignity and status of the university. Islamic and religious standards, courtesy, and respect must be observed in the university environment, and we must take steps towards the Islamization of universities by considering the guidelines of the Supreme Leader. The university is a sacred environment, a place to acquire science and knowledge, and being present in such a place should be with ablution. When religion is the principle, naturally our duty becomes more serious. The duties that are defined for us must be in line with Islamic standards.
Dr. Azizi concluded: Now that we are in Government Week, it is appropriate to remember the martyrs Rajaei and Bahonar and to commemorate their memory. We must look at the intellectual life and practical behavior of these two dear ones and consider it. We must refrain from unnecessary formalities, incidental costs, extravagance, and waste, and put order and discipline at the forefront of our work. Dear staff, if they put these at the forefront of their work, we will undoubtedly witness significant progress in this field.
