Announcement of the Results of the Faculty Members' Student Council Elections at Lorestan University / Participation Rate: Over 73 Percent

The results of the electronic elections for the Faculty Members' Syndicate Council of Lorestan University have been announced. In this election, a participation rate of 73.5 percent was achieved, indicating the faculty members' engagement with the syndicate elections.
According to the Public Relations of Lorestan University, in the elections held electronically on Tuesday, August 10, 2026, 318 out of 433 faculty members of Lorestan University participated.
The term of office for the elected members is two years.
Seven members are principal members and two are alternate members.

_ Dr. Seyed Najm-Aldin Mousavi; Professor, Department of Management; Votes: 220.
_ Dr. Ebrahim Souri; Associate Professor, Department of Mathematics; Votes: 218.
_ Dr. Masoud Shakrami; Assistant Professor, Department of Water Sciences; Votes: 183.
_ Dr. Mohammad Fathi; Professor, Department of Physical Education; Votes: 176.
_ Dr. Maryam Malmir; Assistant Professor, Department of Physics; Votes: 176.
_ Dr. Hamidreza Kargar; Assistant Professor, Department of Law; Votes: 165.
_ Dr. Masoud Zamani-Moghadam; Assistant Professor, Department of Persian Language and Literature; Votes: 137.
_ Dr. Amir Ahangaran; Assistant Professor, Department of History and Archaeology; Votes: 117; Alternate Member.

Accordingly, Dr. Seyed Najm-Aldin Mousavi, Dr. Ebrahim Souri, Dr. Masoud Shakrami, Dr. Mohammad Fathi, Dr. Maryam Malmir, Dr. Hamidreza Kargar, and Dr. Masoud Zamani-Moghadam were elected as principal members, and Dr. Amir Ahangaran and Dr. Pouyan Rezapour were elected as alternate members of the Faculty Members' Syndicate Council of Lorestan University.
