Applied Cooperation between Lorestan University and Pegah Company of the Province for Enhancing Productivity and Solving Industry Challenges

A meeting on joint applied collaborations between Lorestan University and Pegah Company of the province was held, hosted by Pegah Company, with the presence of senior managers from both sides.

According to the Public Relations of Lorestan University, Dr. Hossein Hatami, Deputy of Research and Technology at Lorestan University, in this meeting, referring to the university's policy of problem-oriented research and effective communication with industry, stated: "Lorestan University is prepared to take steps towards improving productivity and solving the challenges of the province's industry by utilizing the scientific capabilities of its faculty members, postgraduate students, and technology units located in the growth center."

Eng. Ramin Tahmasbi, CEO of Pegah Lorestan Company, while welcoming these collaborations, emphasized the necessity of utilizing the university's scientific capacities to improve product quality and ensure consumer health.

_ Utilization of university faculty members' capacities in the form of sabbatical leave at Pegah Lorestan Company, with the aim of familiarizing them with industry challenges and presenting practical solutions.

_ Agreement of both parties to utilize research and development (R&D) tax credits to enhance and improve the quality of services and products of Pegah Lorestan Company.

_ Definition and execution of joint research and study projects with the aim of resolving the technical, process, and production issues of Pegah Lorestan Company.

_ Cooperation in establishing a participatory approach between the university and industry to improve service quality by leveraging the capabilities of Lorestan University researchers.

_ Introduction of the university's specialized electricity and energy team for defining research projects aimed at optimizing gas, electricity, and water consumption in Pegah Lorestan Company.
