Artificial Intelligence Workshop in Social Work / Teaching by a Faculty Member of Lorestan University

The training workshop "Application of Artificial Intelligence in Social Work" was held for the social workers of this institution in the province, with lectures from various instructors including Dr. Armin Rashno, a faculty member of the Computer Engineering Department at the Faculty of Engineering of Lorestan University. The workshop aimed to enhance the specialized knowledge of social workers and utilize modern technologies in the service delivery process.

According to the Public Relations of Lorestan University, in this training workshop, which was held on Sunday, June 13th, in coordination with the Office of Community and Industry Relations of Lorestan University, experienced university professors presented how to use artificial intelligence-based technologies in the analysis, examination, and processing of social work data.

Participants became acquainted with the capabilities and applications of this technology in making more accurate, targeted, and effective decisions for providing better services to the beneficiaries and the target community.

Furthermore, in this program, the approaches and plans of the Imam Khomeini Relief Foundation for the year 1405 (Persian calendar) in the area of utilizing smart technologies in the service delivery process to the beneficiaries and the target community were explained.

In the continuation of this workshop, the necessity of continuously updating beneficiary information in databases, accurately identifying needs, and developing the infrastructure for "Smart Relief" to enhance the quality, accuracy, and effectiveness of services was emphasized.

This workshop was held in line with empowering human resources, updating the specialized knowledge of social workers, and moving towards greater utilization of technological capacities in the path of more desirable service delivery.
