Collaborative Endeavors between Lorestan University and the Provincial Agricultural Research Center with a Future-Oriented Perspective

In a joint meeting between Lorestan University and the Agricultural Research Center of the province, special emphasis was placed on the development of joint research projects and the optimal utilization of the capabilities of both institutions to address the needs of the agricultural and natural resources sectors of the province.

According to the Public Relations Department of Lorestan University, in coordination with the University's Community and Industry Relations Management, a joint meeting was held between the Faculty of Agriculture and Natural Resources of the University and the Agricultural and Natural Resources Research and Education Center of the province, with the presence of Dr. Farhad Nazarian Firouzabadi (Dean of the Faculty of Agriculture), Dr. Hamed Naghavi (Dean of the Faculty of Natural Resources), Dr. Mohammad Shahverdi (Head of the Agricultural and Natural Resources Research and Education Center of Lorestan Province), and a number of faculty members from both sides, in the meeting hall of the Faculty of Agriculture and Natural Resources.

In this meeting, both parties emphasized the strengthening of bilateral cooperation with a practical, research-oriented, and community-based approach, and while referring to the existing scientific and executive capacities, they placed special emphasis on the development of joint research projects and the optimal utilization of the capabilities of both institutions to address the needs of the agricultural and natural resources sectors of the province.

Based on the report sent by the Community and Industry Relations Management of Lorestan University, such interactions between specialized and research institutions are considered a fundamental step towards addressing the real needs of society, because by synergizing scientific and executive capacities, the possibility of transferring knowledge from academic environments to the field of practice is provided.

Holding such meetings not only prevents duplication of efforts but also paves the way for the implementation of problem-oriented and practical projects that address the tangible challenges of the agricultural and natural resources sectors.
