Elucidation of the Link Between Religion and Innate Nature in Imam Khomeini's Thought by the Speaker of Lorestan University Martyrs' Pavilion

The Basij of Lorestan University Professors, in collaboration with the Cultural and Social Affairs Deputy of the university, held a ceremony commemorating the anniversary of the passing of the great founder of the Islamic Republic of Iran, His Holiness Imam Khomeini (RA), at the shrine of the martyrs of Lorestan University. The ceremony featured speeches by Hojjat al-Islam wal-Muslimeen Dr. Majid Movaidi, Head of the Offices of the Supreme Leader's Representative in the Universities of Lorestan Province, and Hojjat al-Islam wal-Muslimeen Mostafa Teymouri, a researcher in religious and academic fields.

Society's Alignment with Velayat for the Governance of Islamic Values

At this ceremony, held on the evening of Thursday, June 3rd, the Head of the Offices of the Supreme Leader's Representative in the Universities of Lorestan Province, in his speech, citing the directives of the two Imams of the Revolution, stated: "Ghadir reminds us that it is essential for society to always be aligned with Velayat and to obey Velayat so that the complete governance of Islamic values can be realized."

Hojjat al-Islam wal-Muslimeen Dr. Majid Movaidi, by explaining the event of Ghadir Khum, stated that in Ghadir, Velayat was linked with Imamate.

He emphasized that the important lesson of Ghadir is the society's support for and obedience to Velayat; an Islamic and religious society is one that is obedient to Velayat.

At this ceremony, Hojjat al-Islam wal-Muslimeen Mostafa Teymouri, a prominent religious researcher, in his speech, thanked the nation for their presence in the streets and emphasized the strengthening of content for the theology of war, stating: "The most important characteristic of His Holiness Imam (RA) was the linking of religion with innate nature, and this caused the name and memory of Imam (RA) to remain in history."

Teymouri explained: "Another of the prominent characteristics of His Holiness Imam (RA) was the transformation of individual struggle into social struggle; another characteristic of Imam (RA) was the understanding of the enemy's domain; being people-oriented and relying on the people's vote were other aspects of Imam (RA)'s lifestyle."

In another part of his speech, the researcher in religious and academic fields explained the importance of the power of the armed forces and the people in relation to standing against the enemy and resisting global arrogance.
