Emphasis on Strengthening National Unity and Developing Programs in Accordance with the Country's Current Conditions at the Lurestan University Cultural Council Meeting

With a forward-looking approach, the Cultural and Social Council of Lorestan University held its meeting on Wednesday, September 9th, to prepare a vision for upcoming programs in accordance with the current national requirements.

According to the Public Relations of Lorestan University, in this meeting, chaired by Dr. Mehrdad Dadastani, the President of the University, held in the meeting hall of the Presidency, the necessity of strengthening student cultural and social programs, based on the "current conditions of the country" and promoting "national unity and cohesion," was emphasized.

At the beginning of the meeting, Dr. Ghasem Sahraei, the Deputy for Cultural and Social Affairs of Lorestan University, presented a comprehensive report on the documented cultural and social programs for the first semester of the new academic year.

In this report, the proposed cultural and social programs of the faculties, student organizations, the management of Martyrs and Veterans Affairs, and the satellite centers of the university were discussed and analyzed in detail, and a clear vision of the university's cultural activities for the first academic semester was outlined.

In this meeting, Dr. Mehrdad Dadastani, the President of Lorestan University, and Hojjat al-Islam wal-Muslimeen Dr. Majid Movahedi, the Head of the Offices of the Supreme Leader's Representative in Universities and Higher Education Centers of Lorestan Province, emphasized the need for active student participation in the design and implementation of programs.

They clarified that the university's cultural and social programs should be developed and implemented with the approach of attracting more students, especially new entrants, and in accordance with the country's exigencies and conditions.

Furthermore, in this meeting, the pivotal importance of "strengthening the culture of national unity and cohesion" was emphasized as one of the main pillars of the university's cultural programs, so that the academic community can move forward more than ever in the path of national empathy and solidarity.
