Enhancing the Level of Applied Cooperation Between Lorestan University and the Provincial Regional Water Company Through the Signing of a Memorandum of Understanding

In line with the expansion of applied and community-oriented research, a bilateral cooperation memorandum of understanding was signed between Lorestan University and the Regional Water Company of Lorestan Province.

According to the Public Relations of Lorestan University, a bilateral cooperation meeting between these two organizations was held on Tuesday, September 8th, hosted by Lorestan University.

In this meeting, the joint memorandum of understanding was signed by Dr. Mehrdad Dadastani, President of Lorestan University, and Eng. Alireza Kakavand, CEO of the Regional Water Company of Lorestan Province.

Conducting joint research, preparing applied theses based on the needs related to the province's water sector, holding joint domestic and international workshops, meetings, and seminars based on the province's capacities, utilizing each other's laboratory facilities and specialized services, and more, are among the most important provisions of this memorandum of understanding.

It is worth mentioning that in this meeting, Dr. Hossein Hatami, Deputy for Research and Technology, Dr. Farhad Nazarian Firouzabadi, Dean of the Faculty of Agriculture, Dr. Mohammadbagher Dolatshahi, Dean of the Faculty of Engineering, Dr. Morteza Ghobadi, Director of University-Industry Linkage, and Dr. Masoud Shakrami, Head of the Water Sciences Department of the Faculty of Agriculture at Lorestan University, elaborated on the most significant scientific, research, and academic capacities of the university.
