Honoring Dr. Ali Khaki Sedigh at Lorestan University / Promotion of Three Faculty Members to Associate Professor Rank

In the meeting of the Lorestan University Promotion and Tenure Committee, held on Thursday, October 21, 2026, with the presence of Dr. Mehrdad Dadastani (President of Lorestan University) and Dr. Ali Khaki-Sedigh (Head of the Boards of Trustees and Promotion and Tenure of the Ministry of Science, Research and Technology) in the Presidential Office meeting hall, in addition to the promotion of three faculty members to the rank of Associate Professor, Professor Dr. Khaki-Sedigh was honored.

According to the Public Relations of Lorestan University, in this specialized meeting, the promotion of three university professors to the following ranks was approved (names in alphabetical order):

1. Dr. Isa Hazbavi (Faculty member of the Biosystems Engineering Department).

2. Dr. Abdolsamad Hamidi (Faculty member of the Electrical and Electronics Engineering Department).

3. Dr. Ahmad Mohammadzadeh (Faculty member of the Physics Department).

Furthermore, at the conclusion of this meeting, in appreciation of the many years of sincere, scholarly, and valuable services of Dr. Ali Khaki-Sedigh (a distinguished son of Lorestan) in various capacities of the higher education system of the country, he was honored with a plaque of appreciation from Lorestan University.
