Interaction between the President of Lorestan University and the Staff Council / Meeting Held to Review and Pursue Demands

The President of Lorestan University, Dr. Mehrdad Dadastani, in a joint meeting with the University Staff Council, while welcoming the space for dialogue, emphasized the university's commitment to pursuing legal demands and improving the welfare of staff, within the framework of the university's budget and the regulations of the Ministry of Science.

According to the Public Relations of Lorestan University, a dialogue-oriented meeting between the Staff Council and the University President was held on Saturday, October 24th, with the aim of thoroughly examining and pursuing staff demands.

In this meeting, the representatives of the Staff Council, by presenting a report, raised a set of staff and welfare issues. Among the most important of these were topics such as: payment of overtime differential, pursuit of an increase in the hardship allowance percentage, implementation of productivity rights in staff employment letters, activation of the staff consumer cooperative to supply necessities through the university, and some issues related to staff in the international department of the university.

Furthermore, proposals such as allocating amounts as bonuses for all staff, specifically for the first six-month period (if budget is secured), improving landscaping, increasing the overtime limit, realizing travel entitlements in the current and next year, and utilizing the benefits of pilgrimage and tourism trips were also presented by the University Staff Council.

Dr. Mehrdad Dadastani, President of Lorestan University, emphasizing the importance of such meetings in strengthening the bond between the management and the executive body of the university, noted: "The Staff Council is a channel for accurately conveying needs. We will make every effort to respond to the legal demands of our esteemed staff within the framework of existing regulations and based on the university's financial capacity."
