Joint Meeting of Lorestan Universities with "Al-Mustafa International University" for the Development of International Collaborations

In a joint meeting of Lorestan province universities with "Al-Mustafa International University," held in the meeting hall of the University of Lorestan's President's Office, the expansion of multifaceted applied educational, research, and scholarly collaborations was emphasized, particularly joint cooperation to enhance the international indicators of universities.

According to the Public Relations of the University of Lorestan, this meeting was held on Saturday, May 22nd, with the presence of Dr. Mehrdad Dadsetani, President of the University of Lorestan, Hojjatoleslam val-Moslemin Mohsen Ghanbari, Deputy of Education of "Al-Mustafa International University," and the heads and managers of universities and higher education centers in Lorestan province, hosted by the University of Lorestan.

In this meeting, Dr. Mehrdad Dadsetani, President of the University of Lorestan, and Dr. Hossein Hatami, Vice President for Research and Technology of the university, in their speeches, emphasized the University of Lorestan's full readiness to expand applied collaborations.

Dr. Dadsetani stated that cooperation agreements have been concluded, but the important thing is that the clauses of the agreement are implemented completely, fundamentally, and scientifically.

Dr. Hossein Hatami, Vice President for Research and Technology of the university, also provided comprehensive explanations about the capacities and potentials of the various departments of the University of Lorestan.

Also, Dr. Manouchehr Nasri, Director of the International Scientific Cooperation Group, and Dr. Mohammadreza Hassani-Jalilian, Dean of the Faculty of Literature and Humanities, each in their speeches, described the capacities related to international students of the university and the fields of literature and humanities of the university.

In this meeting, Hojjatoleslam val-Moslemin Ghanbari, Deputy of Education of "Al-Mustafa International University," and the accompanying delegation, emphasizing the expansion of cooperation, expressed hope that the agreements concluded between the university and the universities of the province, including the University of Lorestan, would reach the stages of the agreement and final contract so that the implementation stages would be fully operational.

Also, in this meeting, Hojjatoleslam val-Moslemin Dr. Majid Moeidi, Head of the Offices of the Representative of the Supreme Leader in the universities of Lorestan province, also in his speech, requested that a joint working group be formed to follow up on the approvals for implementation.

It is worth mentioning that this meeting lasted more than two hours, and the heads and managers of the universities and higher education centers of Lorestan province also expressed their views and suggestions in order to expand cooperation.

Currently, the University of Lorestan has 650 international students.
