Kuhdasht Higher Education Center, the flagbearer for the establishment of the county's first Environmental House

With the inauguration of the first Environmental House of Kuhdasht at the higher education center of this county, a new chapter of social responsibility for nature conservation has begun.

According to the Public Relations of Lorestan University, on Wednesday, July 1, with the presence of Dr. Pouyan Rezapoor, Head of the Higher Education Center of Kuhdasht (affiliated with Lorestan University), Dr. Mojtaba Ahoor, Deputy of Human Environment of the General Department of Environmental Protection of Lorestan Province, Abbas Ahmadi, Head of the Environmental Protection Department of Kuhdasht County, and a group of personnel from the provincial environmental protection, the first Environmental House of Kuhdasht County, located at the higher education center of the county, was inaugurated.

Dr. Pouyan Rezapoor is in charge of this house.

The Head of the Higher Education Center of Kuhdasht, at the inauguration ceremony of the house, stated: "The goal of establishing the Environmental House is to carry out voluntary activities in line with strengthening social responsibilities in the county; this house seeks to undertake activities for environmental protection."

Dr. Rezapoor, referring to the fact that activities will initially begin within the university and then expand to the county level, said: "The activities are entirely voluntary and emphasize creativity and innovation in environmental matters. The ultimate goal is to contribute to environmental protection at the city, provincial, and national levels by combining academic thinking and environmental concerns."

He emphasized the necessity of student and staff cooperation in improving the environmental situation and referred to the establishment of the "Environmental House" at the higher education center as a valuable step.

Furthermore, Dr. Mojtaba Ahoor, Deputy of Human Environment of the General Department of Environmental Protection of Lorestan Province, stated in his speech: "The Environmental House is a venue for popularizing environmental activities and inviting the general public and officials to understand the environment and participate in implementing environmental programs, the overarching goal of which is to enhance the culture of environmental protection and achieve a desirable environment alongside sustainable development."
