Emphasis was placed on enhancing measures and activities, in line with the preferences of the young generation and students, during the meeting of the University of Lorestan's Prayer Establishment Council.
According to the Public Relations of the University of Lorestan, the University's Prayer Establishment Council meeting was held on Wednesday, June 30th of the current year, in the meeting hall of the University Presidency, with the presence of Dr. Mehrdad Dadastani, President of the University of Lorestan, and Hojjat al-Islam wal-Muslimeen Mohammad Javad Cheraghi, Director of the Prayer Establishment Headquarters of Lorestan Province.
In this meeting, Dr. Dadastani emphasized the enhancement of measures.
The President of the University of Lorestan stated: "The best ideas regarding strategies for strengthening the culture of prayer should be honored."
The Director of the Prayer Establishment Headquarters of Lorestan Province (Hojjat al-Islam wal-Muslimeen Cheraghi) said: "A think tank should be formed with the focus on student participation."
Cheraghi stated: "Schools and universities are two influential institutions for promoting the culture of prayer."
Dr. Mehdi Shahin, the Student Affairs Vice-President of the University of Lorestan, emphasized: "We must strive to increase the vibrancy of prayer rooms in student dormitories."
In this meeting, Dr. Misagh Heydari, Director of Cultural and Social Planning at the University of Lorestan, presented a comprehensive report on the measures taken at the university to promote the culture of prayer.
Dr. Heydari announced: "A Prayer Club will be formed with a student-centered approach."
Hojjat al-Islam wal-Muslimeen Darvishi, Secretary of the Prayer Establishment Headquarters for University Affiliates of Lorestan Province, also emphasized in his speech that the capacity of university religious studies groups should be utilized to expand the culture of prayer.
He noted: "Efforts should be made to expand programs that enhance knowledge about the culture of prayer."
It is noteworthy that at the end of the meeting, a bilateral practical cooperation memorandum of understanding was signed between the University of Lorestan and the Prayer Establishment Headquarters of Lorestan Province by Dr. Mehrdad Dadastani and Hojjat al-Islam wal-Muslimeen Cheraghi.
