Lorestan Academics in Step with the People in the Commemoration Ceremony of the Martyred Imam

Academics from Lorestan University, in unison with various segments of the people of Lorestan Province, participated in the ceremony commemorating the memory and remembrance of the martyred Imam of Iran, with the presence and speech of Ayatollah Seyyed Ahmad Khatami, the interim Friday Prayer Imam of Tehran.

According to the Public Relations of Lorestan University, this ceremony was held on Sunday, July 11th, at the Al-Ghadir Musalla in Khorramabad.

The people honored the memory and remembrance of the martyred Imam of the Islamic Ummah and chanted slogans of "Death to America" and "Death to Israel."

Various segments of the people emphasized seeking retribution and revenge for the blood of the martyred leader and the esteemed martyrs.

Ayatollah Seyyed Ahmad Khatami, the interim Friday Prayer Imam of Tehran and a member of the Assembly of Experts, explained in his speech that the funeral procession of the pure body of the martyred leader of the Islamic Revolution was the largest funeral procession in the history of Iran.

He stated: "The widespread presence of the people in the funeral procession of the pure body of the martyred leader of the Islamic Ummah demonstrated that there is a deep and enduring profound relationship and bond between the people and the sacred system of the Islamic Republic, and the people are strong supporters of the Islamic system."

Ayatollah Khatami emphasized that the revenge for the blood of the martyrs will undoubtedly be taken in due time.
