Lorestan University Academics' Mountain Trek in Commemoration of Eid al-Ghadir Khumm

In conjunction with the blessed Eid al-Ghadir al-Khum, the Mountaineering Association of the Martyrs of Lorestan University, in collaboration with the Student Affairs Vice-Presidency and the Physical Education Department of the university, organized a hiking program to the beautiful "Nay Angiz" waterfall.

According to the Public Relations of Lorestan University, this program was held on Friday, June 4th, with the participation of a group of students and university staff.

Participants departed from the university dormitories at 7:30 AM by vehicle towards the village of Shabandareh.

At 9:00 AM, the hike commenced along the designated route, and after approximately three hours of walking through the pristine nature of Lorestan, the group reached the Nay Angiz waterfall at 12:00 PM.

At this scenic location, the fellow hikers rested, took souvenir photos beside one of the cool and beautiful springs of the area, and had lunch.

The return journey began at 4:00 PM, and after 3 hours of hiking, the participants arrived back at the village of Shabandareh at 7:00 PM.

Finally, they returned to the university dormitories by vehicle.
