Lorestan University and the Provincial Science and Technology Park on the Path to Strengthening the Innovation Ecosystem

In line with synergizing scientific, research, and technological capacities and with the aim of strengthening the province's innovation ecosystem, a joint meeting was held between the Head of Lorestan Science and Technology Park (Dr. Mohammad Reza Sepahvand) and the Deputy for Research and Technology of Lorestan University (Dr. Hossein Hatami) and the Head of the University's Incubation Center.
According to the Public Relations of Lorestan University, quoting the Public Relations of Lorestan Science and Technology Park, in this meeting, which was held at the Lorestan Science and Technology Park with the aim of examining solutions for developing joint collaborations in the fields of research, technology, and innovation, Dr. Sepahvand, Head of Lorestan Science and Technology Park, emphasizing the strategic role of universities in the formation and development of the province's technology and innovation ecosystem, stressed the necessity of purposeful utilization of the joint capacities and capabilities of the university and the park to support innovative ideas, develop technology companies, and facilitate the commercialization process of scientific and technological achievements.
He also considered the development of interactions between the university and the Science and Technology Park as a foundation for creating new opportunities for ideators, researchers, students, and technology companies, and emphasized the necessity of moving towards the formation of cohesive and problem-oriented collaborations in order to respond to the technological needs of the province.
Subsequently, Dr. Hossein Hatami, Deputy for Research and Technology of Lorestan University, presented a report on the status, performance, and activities of the companies located in the university's Incubation Center. While explaining the capacities and achievements of this center, he emphasized Lorestan University's readiness to develop specialized and targeted collaborations with Lorestan Science and Technology Park.
At the end of this meeting, considering the necessity of strengthening the cooperation network among the province's scientific and technological institutions, it was agreed to revive and activate the memorandum of understanding for joint collaborations between Lorestan Science and Technology Park and the Incubation Center of Lorestan University.
This collaboration will be pursued with the aim of creating effective mechanisms for mutual support of technology companies, facilitating the utilization of scientific and specialized capacities, developing joint research and technological activities, and enhancing the level of interactions between the two entities.
