Lorestan University Maintains Its Global Position in the Times Ranking

Based on the results of the Times Higher Education (THE) Subject Rankings for 2026, Lorestan University succeeded in being ranked within the Asian range of 501-600 and the global range of 1201-1500, maintaining its position compared to 2025.
According to the Public Relations Department of Lorestan University, quoting the Vice-Presidency for Research and Technology of the University, the Times ranking is one of the most renowned international university ranking systems.
This reputable international ranking system evaluates universities based on a set of educational, research, research quality, industry collaboration, and international outlook indicators, and is considered one of the most important references for assessing the performance of universities globally.
In this ranking system, 2191 universities and research institutions from 115 countries around the world are present, including 101 Iranian universities.
It is worth noting that, based on the data from the report sent by the Vice-Presidency for Research and Technology of Lorestan University, the Times ranking institution, in a correspondence to the Vice-Presidency for Research and Technology of Lorestan University, granted one day of access, considering that the institution's staff were on Easter holidays, and also due to the occurrence of the imposed war and the international internet outage in Iran.
The reputable Times institution, while expressing sympathy with the academics of Lorestan University due to the circumstances of the war, reopened the system for one day, two months after the deadline, and the Vice-Presidency for Research and Technology of Lorestan University uploaded the prepared content and documentation so that Lorestan University could be present in the 2026 Times global ranking.
