Lorestan University Student Affairs Deputy: Student dormitories will reopen 2 to 3 days before the start of classes.

The Vice-Chancellor for Student Affairs at Lorestan University stated: Based on the routine of previous years, the university's student dormitories will be reopened two to three days before the commencement of classes, and students can then proceed to the dormitories for accommodation.
Dr. Mehdi Shahin, in an interview with an ISNA correspondent, extended his پیشاپیش greetings for the academic year 1405-1406 to the students, stating: "I extend my پیشاپیش greetings for the academic year 1405-1406 to the future-building students of Islamic Iran, and I hope the new academic year will be a year of success and vitality for the students."
He further added: "According to the academic calendar, which can be viewed on the Lorestan University website, the university will reopen and the current semester will commence on the fourth of Mehr."
Shahin explained: "Following the trend of previous years, the student dormitories will be reopened two to three days prior to the fourth of Mehr, and students can then make arrangements for their accommodation in the dormitories."
He added: "Postgraduate dormitories have also been active during the summer, and postgraduate students have been and continue to be accommodated in the dormitories during this period."
The Vice-Chancellor for Student Affairs at Lorestan University, in describing the status of the university's dormitories, stated: "At the central campus of Lorestan University, we have four dormitories designated for female students. Additionally, we have a female dormitory with a capacity of approximately 400 students and a postgraduate dormitory for male students with a capacity of approximately 170 students in the urban area."
He added: "Currently, we do not have any operational married student dormitories at the university. However, a married student dormitory is under construction, and upon its completion and preparation, it will be made available to eligible students."
Regarding student nutrition, Shahin said: "We do not have any particular issues with nutrition, and we are currently awaiting the issuance of the nutrition price guidelines, which are communicated to universities annually in Shahrivar via the Welfare Fund website."
He continued, referring to student transportation services: "We do not have any particular issues with transportation either, and the services, similar to previous semesters, will transport students from the dormitories of the Faculty of Agriculture, which are for male students, to the central campus of Lorestan University, and vice versa."
The Vice-Chancellor for Student Affairs at Lorestan University added: "Furthermore, for the transportation of students residing in dormitories within the city to the main campus of the faculties, services have been arranged as in the past, and these services will continue in the new semester."
This official stated: "In terms of readiness for student admission to dormitories, through the cooperation and diligence of various university departments, as well as the university presidency and significant assistance and follow-ups, efforts have been made to prepare the conditions for the commencement of the new academic year."
He added: "During the summer and holiday period, the university officials' concern was to minimize existing problems for the university's reopening and the start of the academic year, and to provide suitable conditions for student presence and accommodation."
Shahhin continued: "Numerous meetings have been held during this period, and solutions and suggestions have been presented. We have strived to resolve the identified problems as much as possible so that students face minimal difficulties upon the university's reopening."
The Vice-Chancellor for Student Affairs at Lorestan University, referring to the programs planned for students in the new semester, recalled: "As per the past routine, at the beginning of the semester, to the extent possible, we have planned programs to enhance student morale and vitality in the dormitories, in terms of sports facilities and diverse and engaging activities."
He added: "Among these programs are sports and local/indigenous activities, which will be held with the aim of fostering vitality and boosting student morale in the dormitory environment."
Regarding the university's counseling and health services, Shahin said: "In terms of counseling and health, our colleagues are prepared to provide the necessary services to students, and we have the required readiness to welcome students in this regard."
He continued: "Therefore, we await the arrival of our students, as we believe the continuation of the university's existence is contingent upon the presence of students. Without students, the university has no meaning or purpose."
The Vice-Chancellor for Student Affairs at Lorestan University emphasized: "The university gains meaning and purpose when students are present. The presence of students is a source of encouragement for us, and I honestly say that we are proud to serve students and to achieve their satisfaction in the new academic year."
Shahhin concluded: "The endeavor of the Lorestan University community is to commence the new academic year with minimal problems by providing the necessary facilities in various fields, and to create a suitable, vibrant, and peaceful environment for the presence and activities of students."
