Lorestan University Student Affairs Vice-Chancellor Commends Dr. "Saeed Darabi" on Doctor's Day

Dr. Mehdi Shahin, the Student Affairs Vice-Chancellor of Lorestan University, honored Dr. Saeed Darabi, the physician of the University's Counseling and Health Center, on the occasion of National Doctor's Day (the birthday of Hakim Avicenna).
According to the Public Relations of Lorestan University, the honoring ceremony was attended by Dr. Nemat Shams, the Director of Student Affairs, and Mohammad Hossein Haghi-zadeh, sociologist and head of the Counseling Center of Lorestan University.
Dr. Saeed Darabi, the physician of the Counseling and Health Center of Lorestan University, told our correspondent: "It is an honor for me to be active in promoting the physical and mental health of university members."
Dr. Darabi stated: "The counseling and health centers of universities and higher education institutions in the country play a significant role in promoting the physical and mental health of the university community, and for this reason, they should receive greater support from governments."
The physician of the Counseling and Health Center of Lorestan University added: "What is important in the health of society is that prevention is always more important than treatment; a healthy society is a society that values its physical and mental health; therefore, promoting a culture of sports and strengthening hope-generating programs should always receive more serious attention so that well-being expands in society day by day, and stress and anxiety are reduced."
Dr. Saeed Darabi stated: "The stronger universities in the country are in every aspect, the greater the development and progress indicators of society will grow; in this regard, the physical and mental health of citizens is of great importance for the institutionalization of comprehensive and sustainable progress."
