Lorestān University Wrestlers Stand Atop Western Iran

The brilliance and capability of Lorestan University's athlete students in sports arenas were once again demonstrated. The university's men's Greco-Roman wrestling team, with a dominant presence in the competitions of universities in the fifth region of the country, hosted by Razi University of Kermanshah, succeeded in winning two gold medals and securing a spot in the National Olympiad of Iranian Student Sports.
According to the Public Relations of Lorestan University, in this round of competitions, Lorestan University's Greco-Roman wrestlers, relying on their technical knowledge and high physical fitness, managed to win two valuable gold medals.
"Ilia Lak" in the 67 kg weight category and "Amir Azizi" in the 63 kg weight category stood on the top podium and earned the qualification to participate in the Iranian Student Olympiad.
Lorestan University's men's Greco-Roman wrestling team competed in these championships under the guidance and coaching of "Sajjad Azadi" and the management and supervision of "Hossein Zarei," adding another golden page to the university's sports achievements.
