Lorestan University's Deputy for Education Announced: Admission of Students in 210 Fields and Specializations for the New Academic Year

The Vice-Chancellor for Education and Postgraduate Studies of Lorestan University stated: "In the academic year 1405-1406, this university will offer a total of 210 fields and specializations across three levels: Bachelor's, Master's, and Specialized Doctorate, and student admissions will be conducted for these fields."

Dr. Kianoush Barani-Birand in an interview with the correspondent of ISNA News Agency, Lorestan Province, referring to the plans made for the new academic year, stated: "Lorestan University will have 59 fields of study at the Bachelor's level in the new academic year, which will be offered in eight faculties and four satellite centers."

He added: "Of the total Bachelor's level fields, 47 fields are active in the faculties of Lorestan University and 12 fields are active in the satellite centers affiliated with the university."

The Vice-Chancellor for Education and Postgraduate Studies of Lorestan University continued: "At the Master's level, the university has 99 fields/specializations, and with the addition of four new fields in the new academic year, the number of fields/specializations at this level has increased to 103 fields/specializations."

Barani-Birand, referring to the status of Specialized Doctorate level fields, said: "In the new academic year, the university will have a total of 48 Specialized Doctorate fields, 47 of which were active in previous years, and Civil Engineering has been added as a new field to the university's Doctorate programs from the current academic year."

Regarding the student admission status at the Specialized Doctorate level, he stated: "In this year's Doctorate examination, 137 individuals have been finally admitted to various university fields. Additionally, 11 individuals have been finally admitted through the exceptional talents admission method, and only their registration phase remains."

The Vice-Chancellor for Education and Postgraduate Studies of Lorestan University further added: "At the Master's level, 109 individuals have been finally admitted through the exceptional talents admission method, and only their registration phase remains."

Dr. Barani-Birand added: "The university has announced a capacity of 631 students for admission in this year's Master's examination, and based on the estimates made, it is predicted that at least 500 of this capacity will result in registration."

He, referring to the admission capacity at the Bachelor's level, said: "In the national Bachelor's examination, the university has announced a capacity of 1,760 students. Assuming registration of approximately 60% of the announced capacity, it is predicted that about 1,056 students will register at this level."

The Vice-Chancellor for Education and Postgraduate Studies of Lorestan University stated regarding the status of the university's faculty members: "Currently, 434 faculty members are active at Lorestan University, including 66 professors, 133 associate professors, 222 assistant professors, and 13 instructors."

The Vice-Chancellor for Education and Postgraduate Studies of Lorestan University, in summarizing the educational status of Lorestan University for the new academic year, said: "Lorestan University, with 59 Bachelor's fields, 103 Master's fields/specializations, and 48 Specialized Doctorate fields, will offer a total of 210 fields and specializations across three academic levels, and with 327 faculty members, will proceed with student admissions at various levels."
