Ministry of Science Approves Establishment of Faculty of Natural Resources at Lorestan University in Alignment with Provincial Capacities

The Supreme Council of Higher Education of the Ministry of Science, Research and Technology has announced its final approval for the establishment of the "Faculty of Natural Resources" at Lorestan University.

According to the Public Relations of Lorestan University, this new faculty will be comprised of the following academic departments with the aim of utilizing the province's capacities:

1. Natural Resources Engineering (Range and Watershed Management).

2. Natural Resources Engineering (Forestry).

3. Natural Resources Engineering (Fisheries and Environment).

The establishment of this faculty is a specialized response to the developmental needs of Lorestan province and aligns academic disciplines with the province's natural potentials.

This initiative can pave the way for training specialists in the fields of environment and natural resource management within the province.
