In line with the planning of the Faculty Members' Syndicate Council of Lorestan University, a question and answer session was held between the faculty members and the university's board of trustees.
According to the Public Relations of Lorestan University, this session was held on Monday, June 21, 2026, in the Martyr Soleimani Conference Hall located at the central campus of Lorestan University.
At the beginning of the session, Dr. Seyed Najmeddin Mousavi, Head of the Faculty Members' Syndicate Council of Lorestan University, addressed the issue of the "Law for the Adjustment of Faculty Members' Rights" from a demand-oriented perspective.
The majority of the participants also voiced this issue in their syndicate demands.
The Head of the Faculty Members' Syndicate Council of Lorestan University, in his speech, called for the swift and favorable implementation of the adjustment of rights for faculty members of universities and higher education centers across the country, including Lorestan University.
Furthermore, Dr. Mousavi spoke about the financial arrears of faculty members, the syndicate demands of part-time instructors, and similar issues.
Subsequently, Dr. Mehrdad Dadastani, President of Lorestan University, presented a comprehensive report on the step-by-step process of implementing the Law for the Adjustment of Faculty Members' Rights.
The President of Lorestan University explained that Lorestan University was among the first universities in the country to promptly issue new decrees for faculty members based on the adjustment of rights, in order to address the syndicate demands of the faculty members. However, the matter of adjusting faculty members' rights encountered some objections from the National Management and Planning Organization.
He announced that, fortunately, all efforts by the government, the Ministry of Science, and the National Administrative and Employment Organization are focused on the complete implementation of the adjustment of faculty members' rights nationwide.
It is noteworthy that in this session, in addition to the Head of the Faculty Members' Syndicate Council, other faculty members also shared their views and syndicate demands with the university's board of trustees.
Some faculty members raised the point that such sessions should continue in the future and be strengthened at the faculty level, a suggestion that the board of trustees of Lorestan University welcomed.
