Safeguarding Iran's Civilizational Power / Rumi Reading and Rumi Studies Session Held at Lorestan University

The specialized seminar "Rumi Studies and Rumiology," aimed at safeguarding the pillars of Persian poetry and literature and commemorating the authentic Iranian identity, was held by the Scientific Association of Persian Language and Literature Students of Lorestan University in collaboration with the Academic Jihad of the province.

According to the Public Relations of Lorestan University, in this specialized seminar, which was attended by a group of professors, students, and enthusiasts of Persian literature, the necessity of safeguarding the Persian language and literature as one of the main pillars of defending authentic Iranian identity was emphasized.

Dr. Mohammad Reza Hassani-Jalilian, Dean of the Faculty of Literature and Humanities at Lorestan University, in his speech at this seminar, elaborated on the lofty and influential position of Rumi in the realm of Persian poetry and literature and explained the various dimensions of this great poet's thoughts.

Furthermore, Amin Azadbakht, Cultural Deputy of the Academic Jihad of Lorestan Province, in his lecture, referring to the unparalleled role of Persian poetry in enriching Iranian civilization, emphasized: "The valuable heritage of Persian poetry and literature must be passed down from generation to generation, as one of the main components of Iran's civilizational power in today's world is Persian poetry and literature, and the commemoration of the great poets of this land."
