According to the Public Relations of Lorestan University, based on the data from the Lorestan University Golestan system, the academic calendar for the current first semester is as follows:
_ Non-attendance course registration for students (excluding new entrants): September 4 to September 10, 2026.
_ Commencement of classes: September 11, 2026.
_ Course modification (add/drop): September 18 and 19, 2026.
_ Any course registration by students without the imposition of the late registration penalty (including courses referred to instructor and continuing courses): September 4 to September 19, 2026 (solely until the end of the modification period).
_ Course registration for students with delays or based on the rulings of special case review boards, with the imposition of the late registration penalty:
October 2, 2026 (solely up to three weeks after the commencement of classes).
_ Course registration for courses referred to instructor and continuing courses, such as thesis and dissertation, with the imposition of the late registration penalty:
From September 20, 2026, until the end of the semester.
_ Emergency course drop: From September 20 to December 17, 2026.
_ End of classes: December 31, 2026.
_ First-semester final examinations: January 2 to January 16, 2027.
