May 19, 2026

On the occasion of the anniversary of the martyrdom of the late Iranian President, the late Ayatollah Raisi, and his companions, which is designated in the official calendar of the country as "Day of the Martyrs of Service," the Basij Organization of University Professors of Lorestan Province, by issuing a statement, commemorated the Day of the Martyrs of Service.

The text of the statement is as follows:

In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

Imam Khomeini (may God bless him) said: "Martyrdom is the art of the men of God."

The thirtieth of Ordibehesht, 1403, is the day on which an irreversible journey was made for a man who dedicated his blessed life to serving a people who appreciate the humility, honesty, and sincerity of their sincere servants.

Our dear martyr Raisi was among the officials for whom leadership brought neither arrogance nor worldly desires.

Yes, he was someone who, during his blessed life and despite the usual unkindness and ingratitude, never complained to anyone until the moment of farewell to earthly life.

He was so hardworking and so dedicated to serving the deprived in society that he even exhausted fatigue!

With his red death, he shamed the ill-wishers and pleased God.

Our appreciative people have also learned to distinguish between a servant and a mere claimant.

The magnificent and million-strong farewell to his pure and half-burned body and his companions is a solid testimony to this claim that our people appreciate their servants and will never allow their memory to be lost in the oblivion of the unkindness and ingratitude of the ungrateful of the time.

The Basij Organization of University Professors of Lorestan Province, while commemorating the memory of this dear martyr of the republic and his martyred companions, requests everyone to consider honoring them as a symbol of servant-recognition and humility towards managers who, in their conduct, follow the path that the martyr of the republic, dear Raisi and his companions, followed to the end.

May God help our managers to show such sincerity in action and service to the people that their benefactors, with the measure of their conscience, give them a passing grade and appreciate them and cherish their memories forever in their kind hearts; God willing.
