Strategic Cooperation Meeting of Lorestan University and Kerman Pharmaceutical Company Held

A joint meeting on scientific, research, and technological cooperation between Lorestan University and Khurman Pharmaceutical Company was held on Wednesday, October 30, 2026, at the office of the Vice-Chancellor for Research and Technology of the university.

According to the Public Relations of Lorestan University, during this meeting, the parties, while examining each other's scientific and industrial capacities and capabilities, emphasized the necessity of developing joint collaborations, and it was decided that the company's research needs would be identified and joint research projects would be defined.

Furthermore, support for theses and doctoral dissertations, utilization of tax credit capacity for research and development, collaboration in sabbatical leave periods for faculty members, cooperation in student internship programs, and definition of demand-driven joint postdoctoral programs were placed on the agenda.

In addition, executive activities for the cultivation of medicinal plants, managed by specialized faculty members and with the participation of students, and supervised by Khurman Pharmaceutical Company in a pilot region, were agreed upon.

Present at this meeting were Dr. Hatami, Vice-Chancellor for Research and Technology of Lorestan University, Dr. Morteza Ghobadi, Director of Industry Linkage at the university, Dr. Alireza Oveisi, Industry Linkage Representative of the Faculty of Chemistry at Lorestan University, and Dr. Saba Daliran, a faculty member of the Organic Chemistry Department and one of the top 2% scientists in the world.

From Khurman Pharmaceutical Company, Dr. Soleimannejad, the company's CEO, Eng. Sheidaei, the company's R&D Manager, and Eng. Yeganeh were present.
