The Magnificent Flutter of the Islamic Republic of Iran's Flag at Lorestan University

Lorestan University, in conjunction with universities across Iran, on the occasion of National Flag Day, reaffirmed its commitment to the sacred flag of the Islamic Republic of Iran and the noble ideals of martyrs by holding a magnificent ceremony accompanied by the resonance of the national anthem and "Ey Iran" by the ceremonial unit of the 84th Infantry Division of Lorestan.
According to the Public Relations of Lorestan University, in this ceremony, held on Sunday, October 5, 1405 [2026], with the presence of the board of trustees, faculty members, staff, and students, the flag of Iran was hoisted in the courtyard of the Faculty of Literature and Management of Lorestan University, accompanied by the enthusiastic rendition of the national anthem.
In the "Flag Generation Transfer" segment, Dr. Ali Kakanajadifard, a professor from the Faculty of Chemistry and a veteran of the university, handed over the flag to Dr. Zahra Ahmadi-Alvar, a young faculty member of the Management Department at the Faculty of Management and Economics, so that ultimately, based on the emphasis on student participation, it would be hoisted by Mohammad Amin Barat, a Master's student in Psychology.
The epic performance of the song "Ey Iran" by the ceremonial unit of the 84th Infantry Division of Lorestan imbued the atmosphere with a spiritual and epic aura.
The presence of the esteemed family of Martyr Sardar Mohammad Bagher Taherpour, one of the prominent martyrs of Lorestan province, revived the memory of the nation's devoted defenders.
University members, holding national flags and paying homage to the symbol of the Islamic system's sovereignty and national identity, emphasized their renewed commitment to the path of martyrs.
The ceremony, planned by the Cultural and Social Affairs Department of Lorestan University and conducted in alignment with other universities nationwide, concluded with university members proceeding to the graves of the university's three unknown martyrs, once again demonstrating the province's academic community's adherence to the honor, independence, and power of Islamic Iran.
Furthermore, during this ceremony, the pivotal role of the institution of science and knowledge in advancing the country's scientific movement and the commitment of academics to relentless efforts for the comprehensive flourishing and progress of beloved Iran were underscored.
