The martyrs are the most Iranian of Iranians / Meeting of Lorestan University academics with the family of martyr Viskarami

A group of academics from Lorestan University, by attending the home of the family of the esteemed martyr "Mehdi Veiskarami," commemorated the memory of this honored martyr and honored the patience, sacrifice, and devotion of the esteemed martyr's family.

According to the Public Relations of Lorestan University, on the afternoon of Sunday, May 9th, with the planning of the Department of Martyrs and Veterans Affairs of Lorestan University, a group of academics from this university went to the village of "Cham-Divan" in Chegeni County to meet with the family of the esteemed martyr of the Vali Amr Corps, martyr "Mehdi Veiskarami."

Martyr Mehdi Veiskarami, a Revolutionary Guard, was martyred during the "Ramadan War" while performing his duty in the Vali Amr Corps.

According to the father and mother of this esteemed martyr, he always wished for martyrdom and finally achieved his long-held wish in March 2026.

Dr. Mehrdad Dadestani, President of Lorestan University, in this meeting, while honoring the high status of the martyrs, said: "The Ramadan War showed that the martyred leader of the revolution and many commanders and officials of the country were present in the field of service and alongside the people, and the enemy's propaganda about their distance from the scene was completely incorrect; this is a great lesson in courage, responsibility, and being with the people."

Dr. Dadestani added: "Undoubtedly, the martyrs are the most Iranian of Iranians; because they sacrificed their lives for the security, peace, authority, and pride of Iran, and we all have a duty to appreciate this sacrifice and devotion."

He emphasized: "The Ramadan War showed the greatness, courage, and capabilities of the Iranian nation to the world and revealed many of the capacities and authority of the nation; a nation that, despite all the pressures and hostilities, stood firm against the enemy."

Martyrs are alive and watching our actions

The head of the offices of the Representation of the Supreme Leader in the universities of Lorestan province, also in this meeting, referring to the high position of the martyrs, said: "Although the martyrs have outwardly passed away from us, but according to the exalted teachings of Islam, they are alive and watching our actions and behavior."

Hojjatoleslam and Muslims Dr. Majid Moeidi, referring to the position of Martyr Veiskarami, added: "Martyr Veiskarami was one of the dedicated forces of the Vali Amr Corps and this is a great honor for the esteemed family of this honored martyr."

He, addressing the father and mother of the martyr, stated: "You should be congratulated for raising and presenting such a faithful, loyal, and patriotic child to the Islamic society; a child who loved the guardianship, service, and sacrifice for the people and the country."

At the end of this meeting, the academics of Lorestan University, by presenting a plaque and honoring the family of the esteemed martyr, Mehdi Veiskarami, emphasized the continuation of the path of the martyrs and the preservation of the culture of sacrifice and martyrdom.
