Three Research Projects from Lorestan University Among Selected Projects of the Ministry of Science's Center for International Scientific Cooperation

Three research projects from Lorestan University were selected among the projects submitted by 51 universities participating in the call for joint projects for the year 1404 (2025-2026) by the Center for International Scientific Cooperation of the Ministry of Science, Research and Technology, after undergoing an evaluation and prioritization process.
The Center for International Scientific Cooperation of the Ministry of Science, Research and Technology, while appreciating the participation of faculty members and the directors of international and research affairs of universities, higher education institutions, and research centers across the country, announced that the evaluation and prioritization process for the projects submitted in the calls for the year 1404 (2025-2026) by this center has concluded.
According to the announcement of this center, the projects submitted in three calls: "Joint Scientific Projects between Iran and Iraq," "Iranian Elites Residing Abroad," and "Artificial Intelligence" were reviewed and evaluated. Support will be provided for the implementation of selected projects within the framework of allocated budgets and in accordance with regulations and guidelines.
In this regard, three research projects by professors from the Inorganic Chemistry group of the Faculty of Chemistry at Lorestan University, Dr. Niloufar Dorosti and Dr. Hakimeh Teimourinia, were included in the list of selected projects for the 1404 (2025-2026) call by the Center for International Scientific Cooperation of the Ministry of Science.
The titles of the selected projects from Lorestan University are as follows:
1. Design of an optimal structure for dye-sensitized solar cells and experimental studies on the reinforcing effect of nanostructures with surface plasmon and photoluminescence properties on their performance.
2. Zirconium-Phosphorus based nanostructures (Zr-MOF@P) and evaluation of their performance in hydrogen storage.
3. Removal of emerging pollutants using phosphorus-containing metal-organic frameworks (ZIF-8-P).
The collaboration of faculty members in international projects can be a valuable step towards developing Lorestan University's international research activities and strengthening scientific interactions with research and academic centers at the international level.
The Research and Technology Vice-Chancellor of Lorestan University has planned for collaboration with international universities, including universities in neighboring countries such as Iraq and Pakistan, and African countries. The university intends to increase the number of joint projects and theses with faculty members of universities abroad.
Recently, the Research and Technology Vice-Chancellor of Lorestan University presented a report on the international activities of Lorestan University in a meeting with Dr. Ehsan Gholam, the Head of the Center for International Cooperation of the Ministry of Science, Research and Technology, in person.
