Lorestan University's Female Students Shine in Kermanshah / Winning Five Gold Medals and Five Olympiad Quotas

Female students of Lorestan University, by excelling in the competitions of the universities of the fifth region of the Ministry of Science, Research and Technology, succeeded in winning five gold medals and five quotas for participation in the Iran University Students' Olympiad in the fields of athletics and taekwondo.
According to the Public Relations of Lorestan University, the sports competitions of female students from the universities of the fifth region of the Ministry of Science, Research and Technology, with the aim of obtaining quotas for the Iran University Students' Olympiad, were held on Saturday, July 18th, hosted by Razi University of Kermanshah.
In the athletics competitions of this round, Saghar Ghabadi, a student of Lorestan University, won two gold medals and secured two quotas for participation in the Iran University Students' Olympiad with an outstanding performance in the 100-meter and 400-meter races.
Furthermore, Fatemeh Shabani, another distinguished representative of Lorestan University, stood on the top podium in the long jump and triple jump events, and by winning two gold medals, registered two more quotas for the Iran University Students' Olympiad for Lorestan University.
Thus, the athletics team of female students from Lorestan University had a successful and honorable participation in these competitions, winning four gold medals and four quotas for the Iran University Students' Olympiad.
Maryam Bazgir served as the coach for the athletics team of female students from Lorestan University, and Dr. Azar Teimouri-Tolabi was the team supervisor.
Continuing the successes of the female students of Lorestan University, in the taekwondo competitions, Fatemeh Esmaeili, with a dominant performance, succeeded in winning a gold medal and a quota for participation in the Iran University Students' Olympiad.
Zeinab Rahmati as coach and Parvaneh Tari as supervisor accompanied the taekwondo team of female students from Lorestan University in these competitions.
In total, the female students of Lorestan University achieved a brilliant record in the competitions of the fifth region of the universities of the Ministry of Science, by winning five gold medals and five quotas for the Iran University Students' Olympiad.
It is noteworthy that the volleyball team of female students from Lorestan University had previously secured a quota for participation in the Iran University Students' Olympiad.
